PES was established in 1972 at Bangalore, Karnataka. PES is focused on four main educational areas : Engineering, Medicine, Management and Life Sciences. The institutions offer both foundation courses in these areas, as well as specialization with a Bachelors / Master/ PhD Degree. It has announced the schedule for PESSAT entrance exam for variouscourses, including BBA - Hotel & Hospitality Management.

Test dates window : The test can be taken on any Wednesday and Saturday from 7 Jan 2017 to 29 July 2017 with prior slot booking. Result will be declared within 1 week of taking the test.

Single attempt : PESSAT can only be attempted once by any candidate for the given academic year. If any candidate is found to violate this rule, he/she will be barred from the seat selection process.
